The Preparatory School

SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ALL STUDENTS

v Parents / guardians must give full details of their children’s health / medical status, as per our medical form requirements. Parents / Guardian should also pay fees timely and counsel their children so as to cope with the school regulations.

v All students must participate fully in individual and environmental cleanliness, classrooms and dormitories.

v All students must follow all school programs on the daily routine and the school calendar without exception.

v All students must always “Speak in English or / and French only.”

v All students should devote to use time, energy and mental ability to successfully finish all assignments given. However, since before joining the school, through entrance examinations all students have proved mentally able, failure to do well in examinations shall be considered as negligence which may lead to discontinuation.

v All students must always put on full uniforms and have their hair cut.

v All students MUST participate in sports.

v Suspension, punishment, dismissal, termination or discontinuation may be imposed to the student depending on the gravity or/ and frequency in practice of the offence/s. Students must obey all punishments soon as they are imposed to them.

v All losses and damages of properties made by a student shall be met by parents and such a student is subject to punishment.

v The school shall provide all medical services to students and later debit same to parents for immediate refund.

v Students are strictly prohibited to do the following:

Ø To engage into sexual acts and its related activities

Ø Use abusive language, bullying others, and misbehaving

Ø To wear rings, bangles and others

Ø To entertain truancy

Ø To own cell phones, radios and any form of musical equipment within the school premises

Ø To carry any food with them to school

Ø To speak to the media without a prior permission from the School Management

Ø To go on strike

Ø To stay with money

Ø To possess or use any type of cosmetics e.g. lotions, body sprays and creams, etc

§ Any student who is found guilty of examination irregularities shall be immediately discontinued from studies.

v All students must respect teachers, supporting staff and the student government leaders.

v Fees shall always be paid in full, two weeks before the commencement of each semester / term, through the school Bank Account No. 33 51 75 01 with the CRDB Bank Ltd. Arusha.
