Preliminary Notion

Trust St. Patrick Schools (TSPS), formerly known as Trust Junior Academy (TJA) are fully fledged English Medium schools at the levels of Preparatory and Primary with day and boarding facilities. Boarding Secondary school for boys has just been established. Services provided are of International Standards for all Schools. The schools have been registered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
Location:
The schools are located along Arusha-Nairobi road, about 7 km from the Arusha municipal Clock Tower.
Cradle:
It all started way back January 1997 by a simple and well respected man, Patrick Khanya, who used to be a professional teacher in primary and secondary schools in Arusha region.
Fundamental steps to establish a school were taken and on the first day it was opened, 21 students were registered and by the end of the year the number of students increased to 98. Following the trust and support by the community, the management found it necessary to establish a primary school and later secondary school. Currently, TSPS has a total number of 889 students.
These modern education facilities, apart from offering ordinary academic courses, they also avail extra curricula activities such as educational tours, debates, religious studies as well as sports and games.

Performance
Despite its excellent truck records academically, TSPS decided not to please itself for positions acquired in various interschool tests, mock and national examinations which are normally a day’s work or two but rather take further steps to strengthen student’s individual potentials and talents through daily continuous assessments academically and socially. Kindly note that all PVII finalists so far have passed their national examinations and got selected to join government schools including the famous special schools.

VISION
TSPS aspires to provide an outstanding standard international education. We value and respect cultural diversity of all the people from various walks of life with special emphasis in preservation of natural environment.
SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
We believe in Education for Progress and no price can buy education as it is the right of all human beings. It is for that reason our school fees are reasonable and affordable for whoever cares about quality education.
FUTURE PLANS
Now that TSPS has already gone through initial stages in the academic ladder up to ordinary level of education, its future plans include establishment of a high school and eventually university.
